The simple logic is that as the cards are well shuffled, the chances of the dealer winning and losing are pretty equal, except when the card dealt is the highest or the lowest. Then, the answer is obvious and it tips the scales in favor of the player.
The simplest type is when the player is allowed to go for all or nothing into the next round, collecting the entire amount on winning. Additional payouts are earned by getting the guess right. All the same, you can lose heavily by getting the guess wrong. Again, when the player’s amount is double the original waver, he can bet half of it again and collect it on winning.
Though the game is based mainly on the player’s luck, there is also a good amount of strategy involved in it. The game has evolved to include betting on the color and also the rank of the next card. But the catch here is that you do not get payouts for every correct guess; you need to make at least 5 correct guesses to earn a payout.
